Summary: Although Jessica Simpson was first approached to write a motivational book which she walked away from, she wrote a memoir in its place. Through her journals which she kept from her teenage years, Jessica Simpson discloses her struggles from childhood through to her celebrity status.

My Thoughts: I listened to the audiobook and it was nice to hear Jessica Simpson read her own memoir. It was great to hear Jessica’s vulnerability come through and the memoir came across as being very down-to-earth. I don’t really read memoirs and Jessica’s wasn’t one that I would have gravitated to without the influence of social media. I don’t have any other memoirs to compare to this one but it was a fun audiobook to listen to.
