I recently went to the Gourmet Food and Wine Expo at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. It was ok and one time for me was enough to see what it was about.
Although the focus was more on the drinks than the food, we still managed to find some food to eat and I tried some new things that I wouldn’t have tried otherwise. For example, I tried seal meat for the first time (and most likely last time as I think it’s an acquired taste and seals are cute – I don’t want to eat more seals).
It was a nice evening out and it was nice that it wasn’t too far from home either.
