Summary: The reader is invited into the lives of 26 food writers and their kitchens as they reflect the meals and recipes created for one that they relish when no one else is looking. It is an informative celebration in the comforts of dining alone.

My thoughts: The was a lovely collection of essays about food and dining alone.  I liked that some of them included recipes as well and thought process behind creating the recipes. It was great to read other’s experiences of solo dining either at home or at restaurants and awkwardness that it can provide.
