Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland Ballet

I recently went to see the National Ballet of Canada’s rendition of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.  It was co-written with the National Ballet in England and both versions vary slightly according to one of my friends who has seen the English version.

We did rush tickets for the stand only area of the Four Seasons Performing Arts Centre which was $12 cash per person.  Worked out well with the stand only area and although there were plenty of empty seats in the row in front of us, we weren’t allowed to sit there during the performance with the price difference.  I’m sure we’d be able to get reasonable seats for the $30 rush tickets.

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland was colourful and I really enjoyed the watching it.  I’d do the rush tickets again for the ballet and would try is out for the opera as well.  It’s definitely a great option to have when you don’t want to commit and the price point is perfect for a first time experience.
