Summary: Cass Tanner and her sister Emma disappear one night. Three years later, Cass returns without her sister. Cass retells her story involving kidnapping, betrayal, and a mysterious island where the sisters were held. Dr. Abby Winter, forensic psychiatrist questions what she’s hearing. Dr. Winter takes a deep dive into Cass’ family history and begins to uncover the Tanner family’s dysfunctions.

My Thoughts: This was such a good mysterious read. Wasn’t expecting the ending to be what it was but the whole story from start to end was enthralling. There was good variety of characters that added to the movement of the plot along with the flaws of the characters being the main focus. Overall, I really enjoyed this novel.
