Summary: Jamie Watson receives a scholarship to attend a prep school in the US close to where his estranged father lives. The prep school is in the same town where Charlotte Holmes lives. Charlotte is the famous detective’s great-great-great-granddaughter and has inherited the same genius and unpredictable temperament.

Once the two meet in person, there’s a tense energy that may cause them to be rivals. Unfortunately, one of the prep school student suspiciously dies and Jamie can no longer keep his distance. Jamie and Charlotte are thrown together to try clear their names as they are being framed for murder … the only people the pair can trust is each other.

My Thoughts: I enjoyed this first instalment the series. It was lighthearted and mysterious with good character and plot development. I liked that we still saw elements of Holmes and Watson come through to the current generation that is the focus of this series.
