You can read about my few days in Amsterdam here on my travels down to Kenya.

I spent one week in Kenya, which included some time in Nairobi and a few days on safari. I’ve split up what I did over the course of the week in three parts – Part 1 and Part 2 are my explorations of Nairobi and Part 3 is the safari.

Here are this I did over the course of a couple days in Ireland in 2 parts.

We grabbed tickets for the Hop-on Hop-off bus for the day to get us around the city and see what we needed to see. Overall, we did a lot of walking to get around the city along with learning things on the bus while we were on it.

The first thing we checked out was the Guinness Experience. It was somewhat interesting and learned a few things but did not agree with the reviews online that you needed a lot more that 1-hour to go through the entire venue. I thought was average and I did learn a couple things too. It was quiet as well so that might have helped us get through the entire venue in about an hour.

We managed to find our back to a pick up spot for the bus and made our way to the Trinity College library. This was such a wonderful, beautiful space to hang out in. The Book of Kells was the first thing we saw as we wondered through the space before we headed into the library’s Long Room. There were a few information pieces posted throughout the room that gave interesting facts about the storage and maintenance of the library books. One other place we spent time in was an art gallery.

We grabbed some small lunch before we headed over to the art gallery – we sat in the lobby and ate before we sped through the space. Staff suggested what to see if we were short on time and that’s what we did.

The other spots we checked out were around the Temple Bar area after we were done on the bus. We walked around the area for a bit before we headed back to our hotel for the evening.
