The Hot Docs Festival is in full swing and I have seen all the documentaries I wanted to see. I have written posts on the following documentaries so far:

Mamacita was my final documentary to see as part of the Hot Docs Festival. By this point, I had forgotten what the documentary was about so I was not sure what to expect. It was about a 95-year old upper-class Mexican woman who was promised a documentary by one of her grandsons. In the process of filming, the grandson discovers a family history he did not expect to find that spanned five generations. It was an interesting documentary with some of the family secrets being exposed and the hurt that was felt by Mamacita and some of her descendants.
