The Hot Docs Festival is in full swing and I have seen all the documentaries I wanted to see. I have written posts on the following documentaries so far:

I went to see Anote’s Ark over the weekend. It was a nice documentary, which highlighted climate change and the effect on the islands in the Pacific Ocean. The documentary focused on the nation of Kiribati as sea levels rise and their land is slowly disappearing. Kiribati is a nation sits on the International Date Line and on the equator – an area that does not receive hurricanes / typhoons but in recent years, this has changed. I definitely had an awareness of land disappearing but did not know it was also effecting the mapping of hurricanes and typhoons in this region along the equator.
