Busy May in the City

Summers are generally quite busy in Toronto. I typically start volunteering for events in the month of May. Thus is the first year I volunteered with Hot Docs – so much fun and I’ve added to my “To Watch” list.

Hot Docs wraps up this weekend and the Jewish Film Festival.

Also happening this weekend is Jane’s Walks. It’s a series of walks in neighbourhoods around the city. I’ve done a few on the past and they’ve been enjoyable and a learning experience.  It’s a great way to be in neighbourhoods that I typically won’t normally explore.

Coming later in the month isms Door’s Open. It’s another event that I’ve volunteer for and sometimes will explore some buildings close to where I’ve decided to volunteer at. Like the Jane’s Walk, it’s anot her great way to explore the city we live in.
