Summary: Continuing the story that being in Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, this second novel begins immediately after the first book ended. The children have barely escaped their island and must journey to London. Through their adventure, Jacob and his friends meet new allies, peculiar animals.

My Thoughts: Hollow City was just as enjoyable as the first novel and it moves at faster pace now that the characters are more established. Like the first novel, it’s a good mixture of fantasy and real world experiences along with great photographs to enhance the vintage / documentary feel of the novel.
