My Thoughts: The book started off well setting the story. I really enjoyed the first third of the book. As the story got going, I started slowing down. It was starting to get a little tired in the middle of the book and I wasn’t entirely sure if I wanted to continue reading. It was slow at times and little predictable. As I haven’t read any of the author’s other books, I didn’t have anything to compare this book to. I continued reading and the end really was a surprise. This book was not what I expected and may be worth reading another of his books for comparison.
