Firebrand at the Mackenzie House Museum

Over the weekend, I and some of my family went to see Firebrand at the Mackenzie House museum.  As the paly explores the last few years of William Lyon Mackenzie’s life in the 1850s, the play was specifically written to be performed at the Mackenzie House.  The focus was more on his family life in the home and followed some of his political career during this time period.

I enjoyed the play.  Some portions of the play I enjoyed more than other parts, I started looking at the windows at some point to see people outside walking along who noticed the performance only to walk back again to have a look again.  It was a fun experience and great way to see a historic building.
