Nu Bügel

There’s a pretty good chance that a new eatery is really good when there’s a line up to order and a lot people sitting at the tables. Nu Bügel did have the line up (to the entrance) and the tables were all filled when we first walked in.

Nu Bügel is located in Toronto’s Kensington Market area on 240 Augusta Ave. It’s fairly new and provides wood-fire bagels. The menu has a good selection of sandwiches and salads with an option to buy bagels by the half or full dozen. The decor looks great and rustic and staff seem friendly as well.

We tried the veggie twist and the BLT. Although, we could have order a couple more bagel sandwiches off the menu – all sounded so yummy.  All the bagel sandwiches comes with a salad as well. We were able to watch the staff make the sandwiches behind the counter and seemed to be quite active as well with other staff providing freshly cooked bagels onto the racks. Both the sandwiches we ordered and the salad were very tasty and quite filling.
