Summary: Kate Pierce-Keller receives a glowing blue medallion from her grandmother and explains that the medallion allows time travel to occur. Kate is in disbelief until it becomes real when a time shift and murder occurs destroying the past that Kate has lived and knows in her present day life. The medallion serves as Kate’s only protection from disappearing completed. Can she go back in time to influence the past back to what Kate has always known?

My Thoughts: I really enjoyed this first book in the series. I did prefer reading the storyline that was set in the past as it was a quicker pace than the present-day storyline. There was enough of action and romance to keep the novel interesting enough to both genders reading this series without it being cheesy.
