Summary: Alison’s husband leavers her for another woman, and she finds herself applying for a private investigator job at the firm she hired to trap her husband. Alison joins the all-female Fitzgerald’s Bureau of Investigation and spends her time shadowing unfaithful husbands. Although her work is fascinating, nothing compares to the characters in her personal life – her boss, Mrs. Fitzgerald; the eccentric best friend, Taron; and her neighbour, Jeff. All these characters are entwined as Alison joins her best friend for a quirky road trip …

My Thoughts: I didn’t really care for this book. I thought it was average and initially enjoyed the characters. By the end of the novel, I wasn’t really sure what was going on and just wanted to finish the book. I got a little lost with the characters and where the storyline was going – there wasn’t really anything cohesive holding the storyline together.
