Read: October 2016
Summary: Prue leads an ordinary life in Portland until her baby brother is abducted by a groups of crows and taken to the forested area on the outskirts of town. The adventurous rescue mission begins as Prue and her friend Curtis head in the forested area, the Impassable Wilderness, to uncover its secrets and the wonderful world of creatures, mystics and powerful dark figures.
My thoughts: I really enjoyed this book as it was nice combination of reality and fantasy. I liked the characters and it was great that the focus was not on either the female or the male character – they seemed to be equal in carrying the storyline. It reminded me a little bit of the Narnia Chronicles.
