Elizabeth – Darcy

I had a pretty good break over the Christmas holidays which included seeing a play, Elizabeth – Darcy, at Campbell House Museum.  Elizabeth – Darcy is an adaptation of Pride and Prejudice by Hallie Burt and Katie Werneburg.

The characters were played by either Hallie Burt or Katie Werneburg sometimes using props to indicate the character changes. The play made use of the various rooms of the museum.

I thought the play was nicely done and it was great to explore another Toronto museum. It made for a fun evening with my aunt who saw it with me. Seeing this play was a happy accident, noticing the poster outside of Campbell House one evening on a walk along Queen Street West just before the weekend run of the play.
