Summary: This book is a follow up to Bill Bryson’s 1995 trip around Britain which then became his home.
Bill Bryson sets out on a new journey through Britain and dubs the route, the Bryson Line. The Bryson Line takes him from Bognor Regis on the south coast to Cape Wrath on the northernmost tip of Scotland.
Like his previous books, it’s an entertaining guide through best and worst about Britain today.
My Thoughts: Like his other books, I thoroughly enjoyed this one as well. It was well written with lots of personal anecdotes that did make me laugh out loud along with plenty of British history. It was nice to read all the traveling through the UK and inspire a future visit while keeping this book in mind.
