I recently took advantage of the TTC free screening of Outlaw King during TIFF this year. Outlaw King is about Robert the Bruce and the war he waged against the English during their occupation of Scotland.
The movie was not that exciting – some scenes were but not enough to carry the movie forward. It was beautifully filmed showcasing Scotland’s natural beauty.
It was a bit boring so I found that I was thinking about other things during the movie. I felt this was something I would keep on in the background while I was cleaning my home.
