Summary: Paige Townsen’s life changes when she receives the starring role in the movie adaptation of a blockbuster book series. Moments after receiving the role, Paige leaves her quiet life in Portland to the film set in Maui and begins spending quality time with her costar Rainer Devon. Jordan Wilder, a troubled star, gets cast into the movie and add’s to the craziness of Paige’s new life. Romance and drama follow Paige and she must adjust to her new life on her own as the whole world watches.
My thoughts: Famous in Love was a fun novel to read (was entertaining to listen to as an audio book) and would have definitely been a novel that I would have read while on vacation. It was a light read filled with enough drama and romance to keep it interesting enough to listen to the audio in a day and a half. The plot fit into one of a few typical young adult fiction storylines which was fine and probably one that I prefer over some of the other plots typically found.
