This market in the Distillery District is one to visit on a weeknight and mostly to check out the lights than to see the vendors selling their Christmas stuff. The lighting is beautiful and a weeknight is still quite busy. Although there’s a $6 weekend cover charge (Friday evenings to Sundays), this hasn’t deterred people from not going on a weekend either – it’s still just as busy, maybe even more so.
It can be a well spent evening if you happen to be in the area doing something else like seeing a play at the SoulPepper Theatre or having dinner/drinks at one of the neighbourhood restaurants.
