I recently went to see a documentary called California Typewriter. I wasn’t sure what to expect and had briefly read the description before putting it into my calendar.
Although initially I thought that the documentary might focus a little bit on the history of typewriters, it ended up focusing more on people who liked to use and how they use typewriters. It was mostly interviews with various people (collectors, musicians, actors) which was intertwined with the story of a small, struggling typewriter repair shop in California. The evening I went to see the documentary, there happened to be a Q&A with the director (I think?) and typewriter collector who was in the documentary. It was quite enjoyable to watch.
