During TIFF 2017 in early September, I managed to see two films: Novitiate and Eric Clapton: Life in 12 Bars.
Novitiate was an interesting movie and well done. I came away from the movie having learned some history and did have to look things up once I got home. The movie itself at TIFF was sold out and theatre was full. Some people in the vicinity of where I was sitting also felt the same way from what I overheard as the movie ended.
Eric Clapton: Life in 12 Bars was a good documentary. I haven’t really watched documentaries like this to compare it to. Overall, I did learn some things about Eric Clapton. This was another sold out movie so the theatre was packed with people of all age groups.
