Summary: A 30-something young woman is struggling to survive through harmless fraud. One rainy spring morning, Susan Burke walks in to have her aura read at Spiritual Palms. The narrator has a strong sense of how human behavior works is able to diagnose Susan. Between Susan’s eerie story about her Victorian home and dealing with her step-son Miles, things get a little crazy during the narrator’s visit to their home. The three characters find themselves in need of discovering where the evil truly lurks and how to escape it.
My Thoughts: This had me hooked from the beginning – was initially a little unsure in the at the start, given the content, but was curious enough to continue on. In the end, it was a capturing storyline.
