It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. Over the weekend for Earth Day, Mill Street hosted their annual Lights Out event. In their third year, they’ve organized the event with 130 venues across Ontario. In 2014 when the event first started, there were a handful of venues in Toronto only and in 2015 there were 60 venues in Toronto and some venues in Ottawa.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I signed up to volunteer with Lights Out nor choose where I wanted to be, I was assigned to be at the Pegasus on Church with The Idaho Stop playing.
It was nice event and the music was good. The music wasn’t something I’d listen to normally.
I’d attend again but not as a volunteer unless I could choose where I wanted to be. I’d prefer researching the bands and venues. Overall, thus event could get better.
