Summary: The main character, Tom, becomes friends with superheroes such as the Ear, the Spooner, and the Impossible Man which is how he met his superhero wife, the Perfectionist. There was a series of unfortunate events at Tom and the Perfectionist’s wedding that leads to the Perfectionist being hypnotized. By the end of the wedding, she believed that Tom is invisible. There isn’t anything Tom can do to make his new wife see him. After six months, the Perfectionist is so sure that she was abandoned that she decides to move to Vancouver to start over. Yet Tom has never left her and has the entire flight to Vancouver to convince his wife that he still exits.

My Thoughts: It was a quick read and perfect for a Saturday afternoon at home. I enjoyed the book and not something I would have gravitated to in the first place. I picpked up the book from the publisher one year after volunteering an afternoon as part of Doors Open. The cover caught my eye and the story sounded interesting. I loved the different Superheroes described and that it wasn’t typical comic book Superheroes and instead personality traits.
