Summary: In need of change, a city girl, Abigail, inherits a cottage from Eliza Carpenter, a knitting guru and Abigail’s mentor. Leaving the city behind for a small California town, Abigail intends to turn her cottage into a knitting shop and classroom space. As it turns out, she’s not welcomed with open arms by her cowboy neighbour, Eliza’s disgruntled nephew, Cade who now owns everything surrounding Abigail’s new home.
Overtime, the two very different people are brought closer together until the Abigail’s past begins calling again. Abigail will have to somehow learn to fully trust her cowboy.
My Thoughts: It was a light, okay book to read. I wasn’t expecting the romance aspect to the novel and it’s normally not what I read. I primarily picked it up the book because I do knit and had thought it would have had more of the knitting aspect to the book that the romance.
