I participated recently in another social painting night a couple weeks ago. This time it was with PaintNite. These social events are great to do with friends and on own your own. I had gone by myself but sat in between a couple and a group of 4 friends. Both the couple and the group of friends were entertaining while I was enjoying painting and admiring their artwork as well.
Within the allotted 2 hours, we painted the painting of the night from start to finish. The instructor was great, demonstrating the work really well, and provided good music in between while we created our piece.
I’m guessing there were about 40 people attending the event. Comparing it to the other social painting event I did, it was nice to be in a pub setting with a large group. Reviewing what was available on their website, I do like that PaintNite has a variety of pubs and event spaces they use across the city making it more accessible.
Having enjoyed this event, I’m already looking as doing more to add to the two paintings I’ve already done.
