I recently did a boat cruise around Toronto’s harbour. As leader with Girl Guides of Canada of a small group of 6 year old girls (Sparks) at a local community centre, this event came up to kick off the Girl Guide year. I hadn’t ever done a boat cruise around Toronto’s harbour so this was the perfect opportunity.
The cruise began near the island airport. The boat travel navigated through a portion of the islands before turning back and finally heading over towards the other end near where the Redpath Sugar Refinery sits.
It was a lot of fun. There were stunning views of the city that I wouldn’t have seen without taking the boat cruise. It was definitely relaxing to be sitting around and enjoying the company who had songs to sing and stories to share.
