A couple weeks ago, my aunt and I went to check the Guild Festival Theatre at the Guildwood Park in Scarborough.  This years play was The Importance of Being Earnest.

We first saw The Misanthorpes last summer so it was nice to check out the festival again.  It was very nice evening that started off with a good dinner.  We picked up our coffee and desert on our way to the park, picked out our seats and got comfy before the show started. Weather was perfect too for an outdoor performance.

The Importance of Being Earnest, A Trivial Comedy for Serious People was written by Oscar Wilde and was first performed in February 1895 at the St James’s Theatre in London. It was a fun play and I enjoyed watching the actors portray the characters. I’m not too familiar with the play and how the characters were to be portrayed but it was fun to watch anyway.
