Last week I went to see Twelfth Night. The ticket I bought through Shakesbeer, included the cost of two beers and the show.
The Classical Theatre Project put on this production at the Artscape Wychwood Barns. It was a wonderful walk over to the space from the subway station. I’m not in this part of the city and enjoyed the walk over. The barns itself was a cool space too with gardens and seating outside on either side of the building.
When I arrived and was waiting for my brother, it was cool to see the number of people already there interacting with each other and chatting away. For a classical theatre production in an indoor space, it was definitely intimate that some of the outdoor spaces used for Shakespeare plays.
Not only was the show intimate and wonderful to watch, it was nice to enjoy a beer while watching some Shakespeare.
