Summary: After two years, March Briscoe returns to his family in Olympus, Texas. March’s return causes a stir in the community bringing the Briscoe family to the forefront of gossip. Days after his arrival, someone dies, marriages break down and the strong family ties break down. With March’s return, will things within the family change? Or will it bring them all down?
My Thoughts: This novel was a page turner with all the family drama coming to light throughout the novel. Although the characters weren’t as diverse as other novels I’ve read, the focus on their flaws definitely sped up the pace of the book and allowed the emotional roller coaster to come through.
