Summary: Pride and Prejudice continues with the Georgiana Darcy, the little sister of Mr. Darcy. Although a background character who shyly introduces herself to Elizabeth in Pride and Prejudice, she comes to the forefront in this book. Miss Darcy is introduced to Society as she pursues happiness and finds love.
My thoughts: I did enjoy this book and have to go back to re-read Pride and Prejudice to familiarize myself again with the characters. I’ve attempted to read other sequels before but never really got into those sequels. This one I thought was better and I actually read through it for the better part of the week. I liked that the book wasn’t focused on Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth’s relationship but on Georgiana Darcy and her relationship with other Pride and Prejudice characters. The author also included some historical facts into the book from that time period and provided additional information at the end of the book.
