Students, ranging from Grades 10 to 12, of the Jane Jacobs Club for Urban Literacy at University of Toronto Schools led a fairly large group through the Annex.

Jane Jacobs Club for Urban Literacy Students

Start of the Tour
The tour started at Bloor St. West and Avenue Road. We walked through and stopped at several stops in the residential neighbourhood. We stopped at a park briefly for the students to talk briefly about Jane Jacobs before walking us over to our first official stop.

Final Stop
This walk was a fun, interactive and informative tour of the neighborhood. We got some statistics and general information about the crime rate in Toronto as compared to other North American cities. The students were quite excited in presenting the information to us and tried to get us to meet someone new on the walking tour.
